The Fall 2020 Virtual Workshop is a three-week program for students in grades 3 through 5. During the program, participants will learn about our planet’s oceans through hands-on activities, immersive videos, and live-Zoom events — all while connecting with Saltwater Classroom educators and a community of peers. 

With 6 to 8 hours of planned educational programming per week and even more opportunities to expand, Saltwater Classroom will provide weekly structure while maintaining flexibility for individual schedule needs.

An ocean education workshop with Saltwater Classroom covers a range of topics, from coastal habitats and marine mammals, to waves, plastic pollution and more.

In advance, parents and/or teachers will receive a detailed calendar of LIVE Zoom activities and discussions, as well as guest speaker events. You’ll also be able to follow a road map of Saltwater Classroom’s suggested daily activities.
